Laura Lucas PhotoLaura Lucas is Big Picture Research, a visual researcher and rights clearance officer with over 25 years of experience in the media market. Laura knows the right questions to ask to understand a script, a concept, a message or the context of your story.  She’s tenacious and won’t stop until she’s found the right photo or video to meet your needs.

Having launched her own company Big Picture Research, Laura enjoys hunting down the perfect image to tell a story but is also focused the emerging field of digital estate planning and personal archiving. It’s an exciting time to be working in this field as the traditional broadcast-driven research pivots to the online-driven market of today.

In addition to image research, publishing permissions, and music and talent clearance, Laura Lucas and Big Picture Research bring a wealth of archiving, cataloguing and digital library skills to the content creation landscape. Laura is also an active member of the Visual Researcher’s Society of Canada  www.visualresearch.ca
